Meet the people behind barefoot yoga & therapy
Barefoot Yoga & Therapy brings together a team of passionate teachers with different backgrounds, experiences and approaches to yoga. From dynamic Vinyasa flows and traditional Hatha practice to Yin, restorative and chair yoga, each teacher brings their own perspective while creating an inclusive and supportive environment. The studio is founded on the belief that yoga can be accessible to everyone, whether you are stepping onto the mat for the first time or looking to deepen an established practice.
Meet Helen Callaghan
Helen Callaghan is the founder and owner of Barefoot Yoga & Therapy. Her yoga journey began after discovering a local Vinyasa class in London, leading to a deeper passion for yoga and its ability to support the mind, body and spirit. She trained as a yoga teacher in the Himalayas and has developed a holistic practice combining Hatha and Vinyasa principles with yoga philosophy, chanting, mantras, Sanskrit, asana, pranayama, meditation, relaxation, yoga nidra and Acu-yoga.
Helen has continued to expand her training through qualifications in perinatal and postnatal yoga, Yin Yoga, aerial trapeze yoga and Barre fitness. She is also a trained massage and cupping therapist. Her approach is centred on creating bespoke classes that respond to individual needs and help students achieve their physical and mental goals.

Meet Anastasia Kalaitzi
Anastasia began her yoga journey eight years ago and has explored a wide range of techniques and styles, with a particular focus on Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow, Jivamukti and Dharma yoga. She has completed Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training and enjoys teaching classes of up to 12 attendees.
Anastasia teaches Vinyasa yoga and makes her classes accessible to all levels by offering variations and options for different abilities. While she particularly enjoys faster-paced, dynamic power flows, she is equally comfortable creating slower and more restorative sequences to meet the needs of her students.
Meet Lydia Hourihan
Lydia is a compassionate and inclusive yoga teacher who shares Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Chair Yoga across studios, corporate spaces, charities and private settings. Her teaching encourages students to connect with their true essence through mindful movement, breath and self-awareness.
Her classes recognise that every body is different, focusing on alignment and intuitive movement. Lydia encourages students to explore what feels right for their bodies while developing confidence, strength and presence both on and off the mat. Her teaching is supportive, non-judgemental and grounding, whether students are moving through a dynamic sequence or settling into stillness.
Lydia is certified in 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa through Yoga London and 50-hour Yin Yoga and continues to develop her practice and teaching through ongoing study.

Meet Regina Ulloa
Regina grew up in Argentina and began dancing at the age of four. Her passion for movement led to a 10-year career as a professional contemporary dancer. She discovered yoga at 17 and found that it helped her maintain balance, connect with herself and develop her own expression as an artist.
Regina trained to teach yoga in 2019, initially qualifying in Hatha and Vinyasa. She later completed advanced teacher training as well as training in Yin and restorative yoga. Her additional training includes GP and exercise referral, core stability, pregnancy and postnatal yoga, and advanced fitness instruction.
With almost 40 years of experience teaching movement and exercise, Regina is passionate about helping people connect with their bodies on an intuitive level. She sees yoga as a spiritual practice and a lifelong journey, encouraging students to listen to their bodies, honour their energy and remain open to their practice.
