It focuses on helping you regain your fitness, core strength, Pelvic floor and flexibility after having a baby. Postnatal pilates should be led by a qualified postnatal instructor who will adapt moves and create a workout plan suited for your body. The exercises are specially carried out following childbirth to help you to return to an active lifestyle. They are also an effective way of minimising any post labour complications such as back pain, pelvic pain and general weakness that can be a consequence of childbirth.
