About the event
Pregnancy yoga focuses on poses for pregnant women, in order to increase strength and flexibility. It also helps pregnant Women to develop proper breathing and relaxation techniques for easier and more comfortable labour.
This is a two-hour workshop designed to support Mums- To- Be with rest, relaxation and breathing whilst strengthening muscles that support baby for mindful labour and birth. It will help you to prepare for birth and adapt to physical, mental and emotional change. The pregnancy journey begins from the womb, nurturing mother and baby from 1st trimester to labour, with the direction of specifically modified postures and guided breath.
Practise yoga poses that can help to prepare your pelvis for birth by increasing its mobility and the strength of its supporting muscles.

• Increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth.
